Before you submit your completed application for the VISION Transylvania Leadership Development Program, please read the following to help you better understand our program.
VISION Transylvania is a ten-month course designed to give students in-depth knowledge of Transylvania County – its history, present, and future – through two retreats, an orientation, and ten intensive days covering the following topics: History/Cultural Diversity, Government, Environment and Natural Resources, Business/Industry & Economic Development, Law Enforcement & Emergency Services, Education, Arts, Heath Care & Human Services, and Outdoor Recreation. Attendance is very important to fulfill the program objectives and is mandatory for the opening 1 1/2 day retreat and the orientation.
